These are the suppliers that we recommend and use ourselves.
Indoor Cages:
https://www.zooplus.co.uk/ is the best value supplier of Ferplast 140 / 160 Plaza cages
https://kaveecage.co.uk/ are the UK's top suppliers of grid-style indoor housing and fleece liners
Hutches and Runs:
https://homeandroost.co.uk/guinea-pigs/ sell well-built wooden hutches and runs, much sturdier than those found in petshops or on ebay / Amazon
Hay and Forage:
We use large bales of meadow hay for our many pigs, but not everybody can store a whole bale. Other options are:
https://haybox.club/collections/premium-hay
Our best supplier of forage and treats is https://www.piggieparcels.co.uk/ and if you order and quote EAGPR in the comments, our rescue piggies also bank some free forage!
Dry Food:
Our guinea pigs are fed a mixture of pellets including Burgess Excel Blackcurrant and Oregano, Burgess Excel Mint and Wagg Twitch. These commercial brands are widely available online and in pet shops.
Bedding:
Our piggies are bedded on EcoBed, which is a recycled cardboard bedding which composts easily and doesn't get stuck in eyes, hair etc. It is available from most horse feed suppliers or online https://www.efeed.co.uk/manufacturers/ecobed.aspx
Other guinea pig friendly alternatives include Megazorb, Aubiose or paper bedding.
If you choose to use fleece liners (see Kavee Cages above) please ensure that your guinea pigs have plenty of opportunity to free forage in unlimited hay, by using a hay loft, tray or other solution. Piggies are not designed to eat from hay racks!
