Upcycling a cot into a guinea pig home

Look at this clever use of an old cot …

Once lined and additional wire added, it makes a good size guinea pig enclosure! Two of our boys were lucky enough to be adopted to live here, and are settling well. Old cots are often given away or sold cheaply so this is a cost effective way of providing excellent space
Thanks Adam for the photos!

Herd adopted

Our lovely mini herd went to their new home with a previous adopter today. We are so happy that they have gone as a family

Weigh in!

Panda having he weigh in before adoption yesterday, chunky monkey! Regular weight checks are so important, these scales are great.

Pig Shed Update

Over Easter weekend I re-painted the shed and have bought some troughs to plant a herb garden along the front, all piggies love herbs!

Welcome, Frankie!

Yesterday we welcomed Frankie to the EAGPR family after losing his brother. He is a beautiful boy and once he’s settled we will bond him with another bereaved piggy here.

Easter Weekend

We had a busy Easter weekend here at the rescue with several piggies off to new homes (not as Easter presents!), thank you to all of our recent adopters especially to Lucy and Erin for the lovely cards they made me when they collected Sherbert and Piglet

 Updating our Blog!

I have been busy updating the information on our Blog to help potential adopters easily access good resources regarding housing, feeding and care. The new posts should start to appear shortly once they've been double-checked!
